About Us

The IISER Pune Linux Users Group (IPLUG) was established with the goal of introducing people to the world of free and open-source softwares. IPLUG was started in 2014 with help and support of Dr.Suhita Nadkarni. We believe that computing should be available free for everyone. We help anyone to install the Linux operating system and teach to make the most out of it.

Additionally we host a number of computing related events, given that we are the only computing club at IISER Pune. See events page for more details about this.

The faculty coordinator of IPLUG is Dr. Collins Assisi.
