About Us

The IISER Pune Linux Users Group (IPLUG) was established with the goal of introducing people to the world of free and open-source software. IPLUG was started in 2014 with the help and support of Dr.Suhita Nadkarni. Computing should be available free for everyone. We help anyone to install the Linux operating system and teach them to make the most out of it. Additionally, we host many computing-related events, given that we are the only computing club at IISER Pune. See the events page for more details about this.

The faculty coordinator of IPLUG is Joy Merwin Monteiro.

The general coordinators for the 2023-24 session are Manas Anmol, Subham Kumar Mahato, and Swapnil Manna.
